Bella Brown Bedortha is a Nationally Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She is a student of Dr. Aviva Romm's program Herbal Medicine for Women. She was honored to become an Integral Hatha Yoga teacher after studying with Meenakshi Angel Honig, while living in Maui. She attended the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage. In addition to massage, Bella offers counseling and education to everyone seeking an improved quality of life in a holistic way, including relaxation techniques, dietary adjustments, and botanical options. She helps people experienced changes in physical health and personal growth as a result of making a few, simple but well timed shifts in different areas of life such as eating, resting, moving, and more.
As a massage therapist and a Mom, the study of the benefits of touch for humans has become a focus of education for Bella. Infant massage is an ancient practice that modern technology has allowed us to understand on new levels. It is not exaggerating to say that all of humanity stands to benefit from this beautiful practice. Bella is a Certified Pediatric Massage Practioner that enjoys sharing these techniques with all parents and caregivers.
Since 2006, Bella has worked as a licensed massage therapist, a nutrition and wellness counselor, a yoga instructor, a teaching assistant and aromatherapy instructor, a clinic supervisor and spa manager. She has been fortunate to work in a range of settings from spa local spas in Maui, HI and New Orleans, LA to award winning luxury spas in both places, as well as schools, medical offices, parenting centers and birthing centers.
She and her husband, Scott Bedortha, a LMT of over 16 years, also operate a mobile massage therapy practice, seeing clientele in their own homes, condos or hotel suites.
